The Wilson Ultra 100UL v4 Tennis Racquet reinvigorates the Ultra series with a simplistic new style and plenty of performance upgrades. V4.0 is built with a new frame geometry and thinner beam construction. FORTYFIVE° has been integrated into the lay-up for a softer, more comfortable feel along with enhanced stability. An expanded Sweet Spot Channel at the tip of the hoop adds extra power with less bulk for a sleeker, more aerodynamic look. V4.0 features the Crush Zone grommet system which compresses at impact to boost power and dwell time on strings. Lastly the racquet is finished with a clean-matte color shifting blue that alters its shade depending on the light.
The Ultra 100UL is very lightweight at 9.1 ounces unstrung, but it keeps the same beam design, string pattern, and head size as the standard Ultra 100. For beginners who need a racquet focused on mobility, the Ultra 100UL v4.0 offers greater comfort than the previous model, with the same addictive power.
