Dunlop reinvigorates the power category with their new the Dunlop LX 1000 Tennis Racquet. To ensure the LX 1000 plays comfortably, Dunlop added Flex Touch Resin, which is a flexible and vibration reducing material. The LX 1000 features a concave design around the cross string grommets to promote a larger sweet spot with a more dynamic string bed. The most striking feature of the frame is the Dual Bridge System with sprung grommets to increase power. Spring Rubber is located in between the frame and grommets to reduce impact vibration and increase touch and feel.
The LX 1000 an oversize 115 square inch head, and it it slightly longer at 27.5 inches for greater reach. The thicker beam construction pairs nicely with the 16x18 string pattern for a controllable and spin friendly response. At 9.0 ounces unstrung, the LX 1000 is incredibly light and powerful. Dunlop's focus on making the frame comfortable with be a nice surprise for power seekers who have struggled to find a comfortable frame.
